Praise the Lord!

As you see from the previous entry, my heart was rather heavy this morning. I asked the Lord to direct my paths as i am really troubled...

I have been wanting to check out the transition spectacles and today i just feel the desire to check them out. I was deciding whether to go Heartland Mall, the spectacle shops near the coffeehouse or Singapore Pools.

On my way home from school, i walked past the spectacle shop near the Sg Pools, thus i decided to go in & check out the prices & all about transition spectacles. The couple answered my queries & checked my eyesight. Soon, i noticed a cross figure in the shop & some christian verses on the wall. I wanted to ask them which church they go to... but the man beat me to it! Haha.

He passed me a leaflet & asked if i am a christian, he wanted to invite me to his church. And he told me the both of them are new christians for about 4-5 months. They also shared with me their testimonies as to why they trusted the Lord. I sat in the shop from 4pm till about 6pm. We really chatted like we known each other for very long already.

They shared with me their experiences with the Lord & i've no explanation why, but i felt light-hearted. It just occurs to me that the Lord is reminding me of his presence in my life & is in control & is telling me not to be troubled & i shall trust Him that things would be sorted out.

God has indeed in a way 'spoken' to me. Today need not end in this manner, of all the shops, why did i pick this shop? I believe it is not coincidental that i went into this shop. I am really comforted & encouraged by this incident. =)

I've made a new red spectacles with transition lenses.I think i got it at quite a deal. I saw a very cute spectacle, although i like it but i think i need a more mature looking spectacle for i am going into the working force soon. Take a look @ the cute spectacle below!

& today the 2nd quarter of 'Our Daily Bread' is being mailed to me. =)
