Expect the unexpected
Remember my last post about my right lower back gum feeling all sore and all? Initially,i thought i saw a white hole & i thought another wisdom tooth is sprouting..& i also suffered from sore throat on the right side. I surfed the net last night & realised that it might be an infection since my throat is affected on one side.
This morning, i went to sch hoping to solve my queries but the lecturer said he got mixed up with the schedule and because he is still having lesson,he wouldnt have the time for consultation. At that moment, i wasnt feeling angry .. but i just felt ....disappointed and sian (having to travel from North-East to West) and did nothing.So i called up the dental clinic to make an appointment and the earliest i could get is at 3pm.
Thus i made my way from the west to Hougang Mall. When i've finished lunch, it was only 1pm. With that remaining hours, i went into the library and just "read" randomly. Borrowed a book & went off to explore the mall.
Went into the clinic 20 minutes in advance & they attended to me. So the problem i m having is that my upper wisdom tooth has grown too long (longer than the normal tooth) so when i chew, it bites into my gum & caused the ulcer which is unable to heal (when everytime you chew,it bites on it) The solution given was to extract it.
Upon hearing it, i was scared.. It has been ages since i last extracted my tooth which was in primary school or something, for the milk teeth.I was hesistant about it..haha..cold sweat... So i asked the dentist to check if i need to fill any of my tooth ...and she mentioned that what i need now is just cleaning.So i decided to go ahead with it and also the extraction of the wisdom tooth even though i wasnt prepared for it. Since have to do it one day, might as well do it once & for all.
Oh my,i was having cold sweat when she tried to inject anesthetic on my gums. It was not very painful but still.. alittle pricky. After the injection, we went about the cleaning & polishing of teeth. I didnt know why my feet were shivering as she was cleaning my teeth. Haha, maybe im too frightened with the thought of extracting my wisdom tooth. She started to take 1 of the instrument & went into my mouth & just pull & pull.. Lol.. Then she changed another instrument & continue to pull..I didnt feel anything then the tooth was out.At last, everything was done.
Scaling & Polishing - $55
Extraction - $60
Mouthwash - $5
Medication - $18
Total : $147.65 (inclusive of GST)
I've just swallowed some of the pills & it is gross when its accompanied by the taste of your own blood. It is still bleeding & it sucks when you drink water. The receptionist advised me not to consume hot stuff.. i shall cook myself porridge later afterwhich i am going for Sanctification.
Didnt do alot of things today but i thought it might be something good as in a breakaway from my daily routine. Shall end here... goodbye!
