what goes on inside of the mind?

Its Lunar New Year Eve today, guess many families are busy preparing for their reunion dinner tonight.

Anyway, yesterday peng accompanied me for a haircut and we were standing outside the shop. Most of you here will know that when you stand near a railing, you would just stand and not fall, but not for me. Haha. The pavement towards the railing has such a space in between that i bet alot of ppl has dropped into that space. Initially i thot nothing about dropping into that space but when the day gets darker, the sole of my foot hurts, the nerves feel like they are twisted out of place. I didnt thot much of this incident, i thot perhaps some parts of the body are unwell since the nerves or wadsoever are linked to the organs of the body. Now the arch of my sole hurts when i place my foot on the ground, zzz, hopes it will not hurt so much & be well soon!

How often than not, did you find yourself thinking of something that might not really be happening. Why is it that we know the probability of something happening might not be 100% but yet we rely so much on our own imagination & assumptions? Does it even make us feel better? I bet not, but why do we have to subject ourselves to all these unnecessary misunderstandings when the probability of things happening might be close to Zero- meaning its all your own imagination! This is something i really cannot understand & i guess i would never learn to understand.

As we advance each day, we begin to realise many things that have happened before us,here's a quote which i suddenly been reminded of..

"For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief"
Ecclesiastes 1:18

Ever heard that "ignorance is bliss" ? I dont agree with this but i dont know how to put it down in words..you may say by being ignorant, we wouldnt feel too much of sorrow, but being ignorant, do you think you are advancing in life in truth? If that's the case, would you feel more grief or happiness? Perhaps, it comes to an extent that you are ignorant to the point that you take falsehood for happiness.

Hmm..some things can only be experienced and not taught, before you can have the experiences, you need to take the 1st step out, if not, how?
