Perserverance

hello, it has been 2 months since school started. Right now, the feeling i have every week is still inclusive of uncertainties.Uncertainty in the sense that i feel i do not really understand what i've studied until i put it to test by taking the exams. Although i am somewhat discouraged & low in morale sometimes, i have to remind myself that i cant possibly know everything and hope everything to be easy to comprehend when i skipped the foundation units. In another word, i cant possibly crammed what others spent in a year to study into my daily life & expect to know it all. If things are so easy, i am probably a genius. HAHA. Obviously i am anot and you reap what you sow.

I was encouraged during the sermon on Sunday. The pastor was sharing about a life story about this man who knew no English but Sinhalese. He wanted to enroll himself into the bible school but in order to enrol, you have to know English. He sent 2 letters to the school but was rejected. In the 3rd letter, he managed to 'touch' the principal and was accepted but was given a 6 months probation. If he cant keep up, he has to leave. This man worked hard everyday by studying the english & sinhalese dictionary side by side and soon, he succeeded.

I am encouraged by the story. I hope it encourages you too.So, do not give up on what you are doing when the going is tough, perservere and you will reap what you sow.
