its been a long time
hello people, surprised that i've a new entry? I have wanted to give up this blog after not blogging for few months.Somehow,i dont have the feel to blog.Anyway, there has been a reshuffle of units and right now i am taking
1) Elements of Econometrics (EOE) (which i need to put in lots of effort as its sort of a statistics study, which i am not good at)
2) Principle of Banking & Finance
3) Macroeconomics
4) Microeconomics
So far still can catch up as long as i do my revision weekly.Today i did abit of reading up on EOE and had a simple lunch (porridge with scrambled eggs & tuna) Its alittle bit weird to eat it with canned tuna (those you spread in your sandwiches) and i felt a bit sick somehow, and i quickly made myself a cup of Ribena. The sweetness of ribena overcame the sickness feeling.
After lunch, i went to pack my "mountains" of books into my new cabinet (which arrived yesterday) The parents couldnt stand the untidyness of my books lying on the sofas and thus decided to get a cabinet for me. Haha. All along my mom has been saying she couldnt stand me for my untidiness and its always the parents doing the cleaning of the house, but not me.Hmmm..?
Hopefully, when the parents returned, they will be pleased that things are much more neater than before.
There's a new goldfish in my house, it is a birthday gift from my cell leader. I hope it grows bigger as day passes by.I am currently reading this book "The Power to Change Your Life" by Rick Warren. As i read, i would take down some quotes which i find meaningful. Will share some here
"Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts"
"You're not what you think you are, but what you think, you are"
(dont understand?Read again)
The way you THINK determines the way you FEEL, and the way you feel determines the way you ACT. So if you want to change your actions, you've got to go back to the source and CHANGE the way you THINK.
