Decided to share something here with YOU. Hope you get something out of reading this post.
So i say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds;and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
Luke 11:9-10
No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead he puts it on its stand,so that those who come in may see the light. Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad, your body also is full of darkness.
Luke 11:34
My thought on the last italic verse is to "protect our eyes". We should save our eyes from viewing things that are obscene or that things we know we shouldnt be seeing, yet we see because we cant resist the temptations. The verse talks about our eyes being the lamp of our body,so when our eyes are bad, there will be darkness and we cant see clearly anymore.
Are you groping your way in the darkness?
