my taxi ride
today is by far the most interesting taxi ride i had..haha.. normally when i take cab..i dun usually engage in a conversation with the driver .. so the situation is abit awkward & still ... today..the driver who picked me up is quite friendly..he knows what to chat about & what's not..i dislike those who yak non-stop ...
he taught me how to look @ the sign board which indicates traffic jams @ certain areas... if the time taken to reach is longer than usual ..so we took on a different route home ... which took longer than usual as the traffic is quite heavy..
along the way.. i asked him how do the sign board noes the time needed to reach a certain place..& he explained that there are sensors that measure the speed & distance of the car travelling in those CTE tunnel ..lol.. & i learnt something new again..
i cant contained my curiosity about the topic on how the overhead bridge is built..& i asked him ..hahaha..he told me the bridge is already custom made in some factory..& during the nite.. the worker would use those crane or sth to piece them up.. now it does make sense to me.. all along i am wondering how did they cement the bridge in the middle of the nite..& leave it hanging in the air to continue the next day..
the driver must be tinking im mad to ask him such question.. but he answered my questions well...haha..during this ride..i learnt quite abit of stuff la..lol.. alright.. gotta go..tmr's another long day...nite!
