my post
Hi .. had a dream this morning ... cant remember what it is..if you asked me now ... but i am sure its not a good dream ... anyway..was waken up by mom's phonecall....ok ..here's the story
mom was suppposed to meet her fren @ paya leba at 0930 i supposed ? mom called home ard 0950 ... she asked if her fren called our place... so mom was waiting for 20 mins for her fren...fine..i went back to sleep... mom called 10 mins later... & her fren has not arrived...so she was 30 mins late... with that 2nd call..i was already much irritated ... is my mom's fren treating her like a fool...letting her wait for 30 mins ... & my mom told me she's hopping into a cab to Hougang to find her.. i told her "dont be silly..if she dont come,u just go your own way..."and we hung up....
1030am... another phonecall... this time was her fren who called .. .she has reached the place...but my mom has taken a cab to look for her .. so her fren explained to me that she didnt know how to reach the meeting place...& she changed 2 buses ...okie... hearing this... my resentment subsided ...
soon..i was tinking..how mom felt when she was there waiting .....waiting.... & her fren was 1 hour late... although i have not met anyone who was that late ... i am sure waiting isnt something enjoyable ya...
u have a gathering/appointment/meeting or whatsoever... you better make the freaking responsibility to be on time...if you dont know how to get to the place...i hope you at least make a point to find out..or go out earlier....and if your at most 5-10 mins late...make a fone call so that the other party would know approximately what time you would be arriving ..to give them some kind of comfort ... i recognised the voice of mom's fren..it seemed like the same fren to me..the fren who is ALWAYS late ... i hate it when she takes mom for granted .. .
now .. i've got nothing much to do ... mom's out...Dad went for BBQ ... & im here typing this entry ... accompanied by some oldies music blasting in the open space downstair..the songs are nice .... enjoyed them alot... but they all sound melancholy .... sigh
